This workshop is the gathering place of almost traditional handicrafts in Hoian and Quang Nam including: mat weaving, cloth weaving, pottery, lacquer and so on. It is located at a more than 200-year-old house which used to be the trading place of Phi Yen products – a famous name in the Central region.
Visiting the workshop, tourists will be enjoying the quiet and peaceful scenery of the typical village in Vietnam; directly witnessing the skilful hands of the artists to create unique and sophisticated handicrafts. Tourists can join in some stages in the production and buy some products as souvenirs.

Entering the workshop, tourists shall have chance to admire the traditional art performances of Quang Nam and other Central provinces at every 10:00 and 15:00 o’clock, except for Sunday.
Originated from Thanh Hoa province, Thanh Ha Pottery Village was found in the end of 15th century and has been strongly developing in the next centuries. The main material of Thanh Ha is clay, together with the skilfull hands of the artists and the traditional technique of the village.
Thepotteries here are made mainly for daily use, including cups, bowls, jars, vases, shapes of animal and so on, at various shapes and colours. The special thing is that they are lighter than those produced in other regions.
Until now, Thanh Ha Pottery Village keeps operating with the traditional methods and techniques to produce pottery products. Thus, this village becomes a live museum, a precious document source for scientists to study about Vietnamese traditional pottery, and also the pottery of the Southeast Asia in general.

Thanh Ha Pottery Village is located next to ThuBon River, in the area of Cam Ha commune, Hoian Town, about 2km to the west from the ancient town. Visiting this village, besides buying some pottery souvenirs, tourists can also be personally witness the skilled actions from talented hands of the pottery artists.
Located between De Vong River and Tra Que algae lagoon, about 2 km to the Northeast from centre of Hoian Ancient Town, Tra Que Village has long been famous for fresh herbs including cess, houttuynia, flagrant knotweed, mint leaves, cinnamon, onion, eryngium, etc, which are commonly seen in specialties of Quang Nam like Cao Lau, Quang Vermicelly, shimp, papercake rolled with meat, Banh Xeo, grilled veal and so on.

Despite the farming acreage of just tens of hecta, vegetable growing has become the main career of many generations of the locals here. The time when tourism in Hoian starts to develop is also the prosperous time of this vegetable village. In addition to growing vegetable supplying restaurants, hotels and key markets in Quang Nam and Danang with turnover of billions dong per year, the people in Tra Que alsp join in tourism activities.
Arriving at this rustic village, tourists will be guided to dig the soil, make the row, fertilizing and seeding, and also learning to cook dishes from local vegetables as the real farmers.
Kim Bong with its old name of Kim Bong Chau in Cam Kim commune, Hoian town, Quang Nam province is the home of a craft called Kim Bong Carpentry. The village is situated at the right of lower section of Thu Bon River, passing Hoian before pouring to the sea.

Cua Dai Beach is about 5 km to the East from Hoian Annncient Town. With the length of 3 km, this is one of the best poetic and prettiest beaches in the Central Region of Vietnam. The water is blue and clear; wave is gentle with white fine sand beach along, nearby a green forest of coconut.
The landscapes here seem to be more fascinating with the image of Cham Islet in a distance, over the silver waves. Every morning, fishery activities here take place noisily. At the night without moonlight, the lights on fishing boats appear as if the stars. Looking from the beach, we have the feeling of a city sparking in lighthouses. Sometimes, the moonlight silvers a vast area of the sea, the sky and the sand.

Cham Island is a complex of islands which is about 18 km to the east from Cua Dai Beach. this complex includes 7 small islands called Hon Lao, Hon Kho Me, Hon Kho Con, Hon Tai, Hon Dai, Hon Mo, Hon La, Hon Mo.
The climate here is cool all year round with diverse flora and fauna, especially seafood and a rare specialty of Bird nest. The coral reef in ChamIslet’s sea is said to be one of the precious reefs in Vietnam and also in the region.
The weather also prioritizes this islet with numerous beautiful landscapes including Love Stream, Ong Stream, Hon Chong (Husband Islet), Hon Kho (Dry Islet), Ba Cave, etc., Nearby the islet are Ong Beach, Binh Beach, Chong Beach, Bac Beach which are the ideal beaches with white sand and clear, blue water.

In Hon Lao – the largest one among 7 islands, the archaeological sites related to the residence of human more than 3000 years ago and the exchange with India, China, Southeast Asia and Middle East countries more than 1000 years ago were found. The drainage system related to planting technique and agricultural works of the ancient locals in this island complex was also detected.
More than 25 architectural and artistic relics built from 18th century to early 20th century found in Hon Lao, Bai Lang, Bai Huong partly prove the thickness in history and culture of Cham Islet.
